About Mountain Scuba
Our goal at Mountain Scuba is to share our love of the underwater world with anyone who wants to venture below the surface. Whether you're diving locally, in a crystal clear mountain lake, or vacationing somewhere tropical by the sea. We can help you gain the necessary skills to explore all that the underwater world has to offer. Recreational diving is all about having fun, and our courses reflect that, all while helping you dive safely. We offer Courses starting from Open Water Scuba Diver, to a professional level Instructor, with all the offerings in between! We sell top quality scuba equipment, and can help you find exactly what kind of gear you're looking for. Or, if you're already certified and you just need your tanks filled, we are happy to fill them! Our staff has been working in the scuba industry for decades! Josh Scofield
As a teenager I decided that I wanted to be a treasure hunter when I grew up. After learning that most unclaimed treasure is under water, I got my Open Water Scuba Diver Certification as quickly as I could. Once I began to explore the underwater world, I was hooked and decided that my career would take a different direction. I became a Divemaster started my career, here, in Utah at "The Crater." Eventually, I became an instructor and took positions in Puerto Rico, California, Hawaii, and Florida! I love diving, and I'm back in Utah to share all that diving has to offer!
